The Lao Legacy Project partnered with Euy Friday and Laura Empowhers for an amazing evening! The team had the opportunity to meet with Laura, who is a businesswoman, entrepreneur and powerhouse personality.

Eauy Jtp Phrasavath hosted a special interview with Laura. Laura shared her experiences growing up Lao-American and what it meant to navigate spaces where representation was limited. We had meaningful conversations around women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship, and the importance of creating pathways for future generations.

We also had the chance to talk about her newest book featuring Noy and Sangdee, and the inspiration behind bringing their story to life. It was an insightful and empowering discussion, and we’re grateful for the time, knowledge, and energy she shared with our community.
